This is how I've set up my Linux Mint 21 laptop to connect to SenecaNET. The process is actually the same as the older SeneNET-Extreme network. SenecaNET is not a hidden network but you clicking on it doesn't seem to do anything.

This is how I've set up my Linux Mint 21 laptop to connect to SenecaNET. SenecaNET is not a hidden network but you clicking on it doesn't seem to do anything.

Steps to set it up:

  1. Left-click on the NetoworkManager icon and pick SenecaNET.
  2. A popup will appear (see screenshot below). Fill it in like so:
    1. Wi-Fi security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
    2. Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)
    3. Anonymous identity: leave this empty
    4. CA certificate: none
    5. Check "No CA certificate is required"
    6. PEAP version: automatic
    7. Internal authentication: MSCHAPv2
    8. Username/password: your seneca credentials
